
Camilla Rahaman-MacDonald is an Emmy-nominated television producer, director, and creative professional with an international background spanning entertainment, media, dance, and the arts. She received two Emmy nominations as Co-Executive Producer of the transformational lifestyle series How Do I Look? and has built a career centered on storytelling, mentorship, and human-centered content across television, digital, and branded media.
Originally from London, Camilla began her career in the entertainment industry working on the groundbreaking global franchise Pop Idol, later contributing to the launch and success of American Idol in the United States. Throughout her career, she has worked across major television networks producing competition series, lifestyle programming, docu-series, and live event productions. Her experience includes overseeing creative development, multi-camera directing, casting, production management, marketing integration, and cross-platform media initiatives.
Before transitioning into production, Camilla trained extensively in classical ballet, completing Royal Academy of Dance examinations (R.A.D) and furthered her studies at the prestigious Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, in London. Later she pursued a successful international career as a dancer and model, performing in television, commercial, fashion, and live entertainment productions worldwide.
Today, Camilla continues to work in creative media and content production while also pursuing her passion as an abstract artist, with artwork exhibited through the Laguna Art Gallery in Southern California. She is passionate about storytelling, the arts, mentorship, and creating meaningful content that positively impacts people and communities.
